Descendents of Reuben Pierce  born in Edgefield Dist SC???? 1768.

I am investigating the possibility that our 
Reuben Pierce is in someway related to the family of Hugh Pierce born 
1749 Fredericksburg VA died Sept. 1836 AL.  See Joel J Pierce mystery and letter written 
in 1937 to Rhea Kuykendall. I placed a copy of this letter on Hugh Pierce Page. The Joel J Pierce
article now includes genealogy data of Hugh Pierce VA written by Wanda Ruby of Hernando MS.

I am descended from Reuben's probable son: Andrew Jackson Pierce

born 1815 Hall GA, and his son Lorenzo D Pierce.

LD Pierce Senior  "L"  was born in 1858 in Cherokee Co. GA and known as "L"  or PEGLEG Pierce.
I LD Pierce (III) am descended from  "L's"  son LD Pierce Click Here born in 1895.
My Dad was JL Pierce and My Mother was Juanita Faus.

Feb 13 2002 this Mystery has now been solved
It is now proved by Dan Pierce of Calif (Wilson Pierce Descendant)
 that Chuck and Brenda Pierce
owner/manger of the Pierce email list are descended from
John R Pierce's son John Barton Pierce

Wilson Pierce of GA. by Dan Pierce of California is also presented.
Wilson Pierce seems to be the brother of My Andrew Jackson Pierce.
Genealogy Research on Sampson Pierce of Hall/Lumpkin GA by various 
relatives is also presented. Sampson Pierce also seems to be the brother of
My Andrew Jackson Pierce.

Genealogy Research on James H Pierce of New Hampshire. (and descendents) 
by Dorman Thomas. Genealogy James H Pierce's Descendants, born in 
Edgefield District, SC is presented.  They were known to have lived in the early 1820's 
in Hall Co., GA, then Lumpkin and Dawson Counties as they were created.  
This family was once thought to have been related to Reuben Pierce and his 
descendants because they resided near another Reuben Pierce in Edgefield District in 1810.
There is no evidence that they are related to the Reuben of Hall County.
