| James Michael Pierce (Wheel
Chair Mike) was born on Jan 17 1955 to James Franklin and Rosa Amelia (Faus) Steele Pierce in Spearman, Texas . He Departed from this life on December 17 2009. He attended school in Spearman receiving his GED and worked in the Oil Field until July of 1985 when he was injured and disabled. Mike is survived by his son Joshua Michael Pierce, Daughters Leyila Rosa and Paula Rae, 8 grandchildren, His brothers Roy Paul Pierce of Wisconsin, and David Lloyd Pierce of Vernonia Oregon. He had a large amount of relatives and friends. He lived for many years in Gage Oklahoma close to his Grandmother Julia Hibbs Faus McManus. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Calvin Douglas, Franklin Lee Gage OK (2009) Richard Dean and his sister Roberta Rose. Services were held at Elm Street Baptist Church Woodward Oklahoma. |

My mother Juanita Faus married a Pierce--My dad JL Pierce
her sister Rosa Faus married Pierce. Jim Pierce
The two Pierces were not related. However it makes for lots of cousins
with the name Pierce!! However for my Pierce cousins whose mother is
Aunt Rosie I have been trying to do some genealogy research.
