(Possible Homicide) -- Amarillo homicide investigators are looking into a possible murder. 44-year-old Jammie Dean Pierce was found dead Monday morning in her apartment at 513 N. Polk. Police say her boyfriend found Pierce in her bed. Homicide investigators say she had been drinking Sunday, and had gotten into several fights. In fact, officers were called to her home on a report of a disturbance. Lt. Ed smith says, "That is a row of apartments, and we were told that she had gotten into an altercation with several of the tenants, we're investigating if there was another location we're not aware of." The reason police are investigating other locations is they were told Pierce had fought with several people also on Saturday. If you have any information, or saw Pierce at any time over the weekend, call detectives at 378-9468 or Crime Stoppers 374-4400. Although investigators are working this case as a homicide, they're waiting for autopsy results to determine Pierce's death. They say she had several medical problems.
